As a professional entertainer I subscribe to Equity’s Code of Conduct…Children’s entertainers will only work with children when there is a responsible adult present. It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure the condition is met. Equity members are covered by public liability insurance to £5 million.
1) The outstanding fee is payable on the day immediately after the performance or an additional £20 will be charged.
2) In the event of cancellation the following fees will apply:
a) NO cancellation fee is payable when – the artiste obtains another engagement for the same date/time/fee.
b) *Cancel more than 2 weeks prior to the engagement date; 50% of the full fee is payable.
c) *Cancel within 2 weeks of the engagement date; the full fee, less estimated travel costs will be payable.
